Stair light controller (SCR-1 / SCR-2)
Follow the order steps carefully to add the required components to your kit.

Step 1: Select your controller (required)
Available options:
Synchronised (SCR-1) controller which switches all lights together and is suitable for LED strips up to 200W total (maximum 18m with LED tape SMD 3528 60LED/m with 4,8W/m)
The Cascading (SCR-2) controller switches the lights on in a sequence and suitable for stairways with 2-20 steps (20 x 9.6W total).

Step 2: Add power supply (optional)
Available option:
MeanWell HDR-150-12: 12 V constant voltage power supply. Rated voltage: 135.6W, DIN rail compatible (details)
MeanWell HDR-150-24: 24 V constant voltage power supply. Rated voltage: 135.6W, DIN rail compatible (details)
Our LED strip lights are 12 V, so if you are adding the mini spotlights to your card, select the 12V version of the power supply.

Step 3: Add your motion sensors (required)
You will need to ADD TWO MOTION SENSORS to your order, one for the bottom and one for the top of the stairs.
The motion sensors come with 10m of three-core wire (unless stated otherwise).

Our controllers are only guaranteed to work with these motion sensors.

The timer switches the stair light’s control unit on or off at selected times or days. This can prevent the stair lights from illuminating during the daytime when you have sufficient natural light.

Please note that all electrical works must be carried out by a fully qualified, registered electrician in accordance with both the UK 17th Edition Wiring Regulations and the manufacturers' instructions. We are unable to refund or replace any item deemed faulty unless it has been installed by a fully qualified electrician, registered to one of the UK's five trade bodies: NICEIC, NAPIT, ECA, ELECSA, JIB. When returning a faulty item we require full details of the installing electrician in order to verify the integrity of both the installation and electrical wiring system including fuse board and circuit protection devices.
